Kristy Craig Anderson is Unstoppable!!!

We will be featuring stories of some of our high profile graduates in the coming blog posts. This one is my favorite...

Kristy Craig Anderson is an education buff. I think that is one of the secrets to her success. She was in education before she jumped feet-first into the world of home staging more than 6 years ago. After she took our staging class, she went on the win many national and local awards. She earned the Top 5 Rising Stars from RESA, the Real Estate Staging Association, right at the beginning. She fearlessly started to build her inventory as she trained stagers and managers to help her. She attends the staging industry conventions as often as possible. Continuing education is important for all of us.

As you can see in the picture, Kristy won Top Ten Best Staging Team of the Year in 2021, in spite of covid issues. Just this week, she said they average 6 to 8 vacant stages a week. She inspires me every time we talk as she tackles bigger and more challenging arenas. She pioneered vacation rental styling long before it was a thing. Dwell Villa is a full service design center with 3 or more big projects a month furnishing Air BNB's and beautiful homes for luxury living.

Quote from the Dwell website:
"We have been named TOP 5 and 10 NATIONAL STAGING COMPANY by HSRA 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, and TOP 10 IN THE COUNTRY by RESA for 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 and BEST OF HOUZZ in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015. We’ve been featured on HGTV, national design blogs, news programs and leading real estate publications. We set the industry standard for quality design, client service, and efficient processes." www.dwellstaging.com

As if running a massive staging company wasn't enough, Kristy got into the retail marketplace a few years ago. She now maintains over 36K Sq Ft of showroom and warehouse space. I noticed on one of her InstaGram videos that they just unloaded a shipment worth 100K of inventory. Oh My Gosh!!! What's next!!!

So, this picture tells us that Kristy is generously sharing her expertise and speaking at trade conventions. There is a reason that some people rise to the top and others do not. Generosity, gratitude and giving back to the industry is essential. Also, excellence in every area from the first contact to the white-glove delivery and designer quality staging. Dwell is a great example of the best of the best in our industry.

Dwell Design division furnishes models and spec homes for builders, and minimal to luxury homes in the Bay area for homeowners. Vacation home design is a specialty because Tampa is known as a popular 2nd home destination. Check out the website for inspiration and ideas for your staging business. http://www.dwellstaging.com

Here at Transformations, we are finalizing a certification class on updating, remodeling and renovations, large and small. How do we navigate the interior design universe without getting into legal trouble.

Join us on the next blog post as we introduce another Transformations SuperStar Stager.
