Pulling in a Million a Year as a Stager

I just returned from the IAHSP Conference in Nashville. I am so pumped!!! I met a lot of stagers pulling in a million or more a year. Who are they and how did this happen?
Obviously, they are at the conference because they value continuing education. Yes, they are all busy and it is inconvenient to take the time out of a packed schedule.BUT THEY KNOW WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. Inspiration and Education!! Both are needed... like a much-needed vacation. Our brains need fresh input.
One of the common factors... stagers tapped into other services to round out their value. 12 years ago, I read Robert Allen's Multiple Streams of Income. It changed my life. I always have 2 or 3 different types of services to offer my design clients or staging clients.
I am planning to expand my offerings after meeting Blair Hamity of Setting the Space in the Boston area. He grossed 6 million last year. He dominates staging in his area and now has added interior design services, event staging and professional organizing. They expanded in every area that homeowners might have a need to prepare a home for sale. They have teams that do small renovations, flooring, painting and landscaping. He has 35 employees. He is constantly reinventing the wheel. I asked him to marry me. (not really)
Another interesting person, who wears several hats... Darcie Harkin from Ashton Woods Builders in Orlando. She manages the design studio and coordinates the interior designers for a large custom builder in Orlando. She realized that after a model home was sold the furniture, etc. was liquidated in a garage sale event for local designers for a fraction of the cost. .
She convinced the owners to let her have the furniture and accessories to stage the problem spec homes. It takes Redesign skills to do that. The homes always sell right away. Now, she is the super-star stager of a whole new department. This is reinventing the wheel.
